Notes on the service: We used only wired mics and no wireless mics for this service because the latter were not working properly (interference of some kind).

Here is the text of the Gospel lesson that was read and should have been on the slides, Mark 16:14–20: [14] Afterward he [Jesus] appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. [15] And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. [16] Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. [17] And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; [18] they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” [19] So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. [20] And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs. (ESV)

COVID-19 Update

MLGS COVID-19 Press Conference Statement

The Lord be with you.

I’m Pastor Paul Cain, Headmaster of Martin Luther Grammar School.

We’ve been part of the community since 2003. Our sponsoring congregation, Immanuel Lutheran, has roots here going back to 1893.

We have been working closely with our scholars’ families.

Our classes will resume online on March 30. For our middle school, Immanuel Academy, online classes will continue as normal. Today.

Visit wyoschool.faith (2X) for updates and information about our unique approach to education.

We are a Christian school. Christians pray, and so I will.

In peace let us pray to the Lord: Lord, have mercy.
For those who are sick: Lord, have mercy.
For the vulnerable: Lord, have mercy.
For healthcare workers and emergency personnel: Lord, have mercy.
For custodians and cleaners: Lord, have mercy.
For those who make, administer, and judge our laws: Lord, have mercy.
For those who are anxious or feel isolated: Lord, have mercy.
For children, parents, school staff, and faculty: Lord, have mercy.

Psalm 4:8: In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
